Why Inflammation Signals Matter

Low energy, brain fog, joint discomfort, digestive symptoms, skin changes, and mood shifts can sometimes reflect broader inflammatory patterns happening beneath the surface.

In this recorded workshop, Dr. Emily Wolbers and Dr. Jennifer Trigg explore how inflammation can influence metabolism, hormones, digestion, energy, and overall resilience and why learning to recognize these signals matters.

Inside the workshop, you’ll learn:

✨ how inflammatory patterns can show up throughout the body

✨ why stress, sleep, food, hormones, and metabolism often interact together

✨ practical ways to support your body through nutrition, lifestyle shifts, mindfulness, and daily habits

✨ how to begin noticing patterns instead of relying on symptom guesswork alone

This workshop is designed to help you better understand the connections between your symptoms, your environment, and your body’s responses with more clarity, context, and curiosity. Your PDF handout includes access to the full recorded workshop.

11 Years of Experience

First, let me warn you that I am a nerd and a recovering Type A — or as I like to say, a lowercase type a now. For years, I treated food like a puzzle to optimize. I ate "perfectly," tracked everything, and still felt like something was off. Living in a culture that celebrates perfectionism, I learned firsthand how there is a fine line between healthy and obsessive and how much that tension lives in the body. That experience is part of why I do this work the way I do. I've been in the field of naturopathic medicine since 2015, specializing in digestive health and the gut-hormone connection. I help smart, motivated women who have been doing everything right get the answers they've been looking for. I teach women how to read their own body's data. I earned my medical degree from the National University of Natural Medicine and my Bachelor's in Dietetics from Bradley University. I founded QC Natural Health in 2018 and have had the privilege of helping thousands of people feel like themselves again. My approach blends evidence-based medicine, nutrition science, and mind-body practices. In my free time, you'll find me on my yoga mat, deep in the latest gut health research, or practicing the self-compassion I teach. I hold an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher certification and teach conscious communication in yoga teacher trainings.

  • I was losing energy, and I have two young kids I have to keep up with, so I was feeling horrible about that...I thought I was handling everything okay...but now, my energy is completely back to normal, my skin is healthy, and my sadness is completely gone.
